About Us & Our Faith

Welcome to Mount Zion Road Church!

Nestled in the heart of Lebanon County, Mount Zion Road Church is a Christ-centered church committed to glorifying God, growing in faith, and serving our neighbors with love and compassion. We believe that church is not just a place to attend—it’s a family to belong to.

Who We Are

Mount Zion Road Church is a Bible-believing, gospel-preaching congregation with a passion for worship, discipleship, and outreach. We are united by our faith in Jesus Christ and our desire to live out His teachings in our everyday lives. Whether you’re just beginning your spiritual journey or have walked with the Lord for years, there’s a place for you here.

Our Mission

“Loving God. Loving People. Living the Word.”

We exist to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ, to grow together in faith through the study of God’s Word, and to reach out with grace to those around us—both locally and globally.

What to Expect

When you walk through our doors, you’ll be welcomed by friendly faces, heartfelt worship, and relevant teaching rooted in Scripture. Our services blend traditional and contemporary elements, and we offer ministries for all ages—from kids and youth programs to adult Bible studies and fellowship groups.

Our History

Mount Zion Road Church has served the Lebanon community for generations. What began as a small gathering of believers has grown into a vibrant, multi-generational church family. While much has changed over the years, our foundation remains the same: Jesus Christ, the solid rock on which we stand.

Plan of Salvation

Senior Pastor Corby Shuey

“10 ‘Do not fear, for I am with you; do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10 NASB).’”

Do not fear; do not look anxiously about because I am your God.  He will uphold those who are His by the power of His hand.  Our blessed hope in His eternal promise to His children.  Jesus, our Savior, has made these words full of vibrance as He directs my path.

I began my career as a public-school teacher.  I had 17 years’ experience working in this field.  God blessed me with a loving wife and two daughters.  We were content and secure.  Yet, I always felt as if something was slightly askew, in the sense that I was missing something.  At the time, I could not discern what was missing.  Looking back, I now liken it to an experience similar to Samuel (1 Samuel 3).  Like Samuel, I heard a voice, not audibly, calling my name.  For a time, I even tried to ignore the call, not recognizing who was calling.  The more I ignored the call, the louder and more persistent the call became.  Finally, rather than running, I said “Speak Lord, your servant is listening (1 Samuel 3:9).”

Since that moment, God has taken the reigns of my life leading my family down a path that He has forged.  We have been through trials that seemed insurmountable, but God.  But God and only God can be credited with the strength to see us through.  He has made the words of the prophet Isaiah alive in my life and I give Him all praise and honor for the privilege of being called a child of the King!

-To Christ be the Glory!
